Does anyone have any opinions on the Bear magnesium risers and limbs ? New models vs older ones.

I like and shoot the older ones.  They're physically lighter than the newer aluminum risers.  Of course, some folks may like the extra weight of the newer risers.  Can usually find older risers for $100-$150 or so less than new ones.  Can't go wrong with either IMO.

I shoot an older B mag riser w #1 limbs. I love it. Most versatile TD IMO
It's really simple. Just don't take those borderline shots. Tomorrow is another day.

I have the older B riser. It’s one of my favorites. Right now I have a set of #3 limbs on it. I also have a set of #1’s I switch with. Has the #1 grip on it.

I also shoot a Grayling B mag;  64" 40#;  wanting to build another one, 62" 44# for hunting this year.  Looking at the new B's, but truly like the Graylings.

Being left handed I don't have a new one but have an A mag handle since the seventies. Over the years I have shot Antelope and turkeys with #2 limbs 58" works good in a pop up blind.

I have both an "A" and"B" Grayling era risers. They are set up to shoot vanes and are my go-to bows when the weather gets crappy.
