Besides the Paul Bunyan a, Bear, Pearson, York, Sears and Jet Bow, are there any more companies that made them?

I figured there would be some more manufacturers.  I would love to know who made those 'stock' white limbed fiberglass bows when I was 8 years old until I no longer shot them after high school archery class.

Good times! My first was the Ben Pearson followed by a larger version of the same color. Each being a red and white blend. My rabbit huntin buddy toted a dark green Bear. There wasn’t a briar patch we didn’t kick within 5 square miles of our home. School work took second place to bunny stomping!

I have one that says “Locksley”, but don’t know who made it.
Still have the old Bear Green Fox I got in 1969.

Wish I'd have been smart enough to hang on to the 25# green Fiberglas bow I had.

I have one that was given to me in the late 60's...never shot it then...didn't have a string till I tied twine to it for my oldest daughter...all of my kids and grand kid have shot it with the twine string...

PDK got me thinking about it so I put a b50 string on it the other day and shot it some...have know idea who made it or the draw weight but it is a duel shelf that is rubber but looks like a leather wrap...it handles a 35/40  with 125 gn point rather well

I have 3 great grand kids that can get some use out of it too...maybe I'll kill a turkey with it this year :)

In answer to your question, there are many other companies.  Shakespeare after they bought parabow, ply-flex, actionbow, Indian, and I am sure there were others.

You are getting a Paul Bunyan 100, lol.  I defy you not to like it once you get a fast flight string on it.  Just use some thin moleskin or deerskin for the rest and strike plate.  Soft and thin.

Acquired mine from another individual, but Pat surely influenced my search.

He is the slicer-dicer salesman of bows. He can make a bent chopstick shoot like Apollo’s bow.
But as influences go, he’s the real deal. Now I’m looking at that old Green Fox… :campfire:

Still have my old Pearson 35# recurve. Dad bought it for me in the late '60s. Yes, I still shoot it on occasion.

Aim small,miss small
