So far Snuffer 160/140 with 6/2, Magnus 1 with 5, and STOS with 4; are the top three places.

Basic fixed blades just seem to work well.  I've been happy with my Grizzly heads for almost a decade now and just quit looking at all the others because I have a supply of Grizzly heads on hand and thus far they seem to keep killing year after year.

Have to agree, solid and sharp heads are the way to go.  I'm partial to Snuffer and Grizzly Instinct.

I like the Centaur 2 blade head, very similar to Simmons.  Seen the results from others, but haven't had the opportunity to test them myself.  Seem pretty impressive.

Wudsticks - where did you buy the Centaur broadheads?  I’ve checked their website periodically and also emailed them about the broadheads but never heard back

The Big Game heads I received in trade, but contacted Jim via e-mail recently and Battle Axe heads are going for $25 each.  He makes a few and then sells them.

Jumping on the bandwagon with Magnus 2 Blade and Snuffers.

The big wide Magnus 2 blade heads.....I think the glue on verssion was 135 grains? With a steel adapter in them, they were a beast. Easy to sharpen also.

My woodies like the Magnus Mag I - 2 blade head in 160 grain.  Still have a handful in my broadhead cabinet.  May use them again, or pass down.

Everyone saying they like the Magnus 1 can use the Zwickey delta. Pretty much the same in every way.

I know they are, and I will get slapped for saying this.....but way back when I had bad experiences with Zwickey. It seemed to me that the weight and steel hardness were not consistent.

I'm glad you posted this though...I will try them again, what I am taling about happened 25 years ago :biglaugh:

I see no one has mentioned Ribteks. They were inexpensive, easy to sharpen and flew extremely well.
