What are some of the broadheads no longer in production, you wish they would bring back?

Being born in 2004 it seems like all the good broadheads were out of production long before I was even born. A couple that I’d really like to get my hands on are some Magnus I with bleeders, 160 grain snuffers, bear razorheads (the real deal not the new ones that aren’t even slotted for bleeders or the super razorheads), zephyr Sasquatch’s, razor caps, and the large Ben Pearson deadheads.

Pearson Deadheads, and green Bear Razorheads. Nothing fancy, but they work

My favorite are the original 190 grain Snuffer heads.  Followed by the 160's.

I have been using the Zwickey Delta 4 blades since the 80s and I still am,. They are still in production and they are still working. I have proof if you would like to see, all the way back to the 80s and i have a serious pic. And?
There are plenty of good broadheads being made today if you don't buy into the hype of the compound world. Abowyer, Centaur, Simmonsand VPA come to mind .

There are plenty of good broad heads on the market today.Just as there were years ago. I still prefer the Zwickey four blade delta overall.

Dead head??? See Abowyer whitetails. If you were a contributing member you could get a deal on them on the classifieds. Brand new.

If I could have one brought head back from the past it would be the one forty Snuffer.

Tuffhead and meathead for me.

What big game animals are you shooting with these heads?

I'm up for all Snuffers as well. Especially 140s and 160s. And the Magnus 1 4 blade.

I like the original Rothhaar Snuffer at 160 grains, and also stumbled on to some of the 190 grains that I believe are early versions Roger started out with.  After they sold to Magnus the lighter weight heads were made, I believe to fit in with the bows at the time.  The Snuffer brand was sold to another company after Magnus.(?)  I should have enough to last me through my bowhunting career.

Someone on another site said; "One that doesn't require a loan to buy."  Have to agree, trading is a good way to get some of those.

I'm also curious as to why someone would want a narrow head to come back for stateside game when you can blow through all kinds of animals with multiblades. My vote is also for the one forty stuffer.

You’re right Terry, I should’ve said a good deal of the heads I’d like to try have gone to the production graveyard. The grass is always greener right :biglaugh:

I'm also curious as to why the 1 1/8" heads are the norm instead of 1 1/4 - 1 1/2".  May be tied to the demographic and reduced bow weights(?)

Actually, the greenest grass I've ever seen is the Zwickey Delta 4 blade. Sorry, I just have to post proof from the 80s when I was just a kid. 3 in 13 minutes -
