Galaxy Black Ridge 70" Longbow

Has anyone got any firsthand knowledge of the Galaxy Black Ridge 70" Longbow? I am kicking around the idea of getting an inexpensive long bow to play and hunt with and not worry about it getting beat up instead of my ILF's and this has a lot of good reviews overall on LAS.

My questions are because I have multiple bulging discs once I get above 43 or so pounds it often triggers my impingements and will lose strength in my fingers and the arrow will sometimes fly when I am not wanting it to. So what would I be looking at with a 35 and 40lb model at my 30 1/4" DL? Also what arrow spine and length with a 175 grain Simmons Swamp Shark?

I just got the answer from Lancaster. I will get a 35lb bow and be about 40-41 at my DL. Their suggested spine seems high with a 340 for a 45lb bow at my DL.I can see the 400 with about 250 grains up front. I will try both my 400 and 500 spine before I try any other arrows.

You can expect about 2-3lbs per inch of additional draw weight.  So the 35lb bow would give you about 40lbs, and the 40 would give you about 45lbs.  As far as arrows go, most people prefer to cut the arrow about an inch or so in front of the riser.  If we just run a generic number based on a 32 inch arrow at 45lbs, Gold Tip and Easton would put you in a 340, and Black Eagle a 400.

My advise is to have them weight the bow poundage. On my Mesa longbow was 3.5 pounds greater than what was marked. This is on 
 all bows that you buy regardless of manufacture.
