House of Ill Repute-all a buck has to do is show up in this area, there are a pile of does that hang out this area

Mr. Miller's stand...An old black man lived next to this stand and drank lots of Miller...and used the area for his bathroom. Always an excellent stand.Plenty of cover scent.
  Miller Lite...not far from Mr. Miller's.
  Princess's stand, We lease half of our land from her grand mother.
  Mike's stand
  Hole in the fence.
  The Hook, near the hole in the fence
  Coors Ave. food plot/road leading to Coors food plot. Coors can marked the original trail.
  The funnel
  Rattle snake ridge
  Coyote hollow
  Knott's landing, where a drunk member(Knott)fell out of his stand. He's no longer a member!
  The donut, because of its shape
  Home Site, Where the original home site was on this property.
Make the most of all that comes and the least of all that goes!

I hunt on the ground, but still tend to name the spots, just like I used to name Grouse coverts. brush pile, blowdown, big pine, gopher hole, and Step-and-a-half (long story)
Is it too late to be what I could have been?

my fav is my "triple death" stand. In a span of under 30 minutes I filled 3 archery tags one evening....all 3 deer dropped within sight. Its pretty cool looking out from your stand and seeing 3 white bellies in different directions  :D  2 does and a 9pt buck

Thanks guys. Some great choices here. The names  reminded me of several more I forgot to mention. Triple Play; Double Play and regretfully, Strike Out. We also have a Far East and Middle East that no one wants to go to. bw

Dad,
I ran your question past Logan and she demands that you name a stand "Panda Princess Ariel Cinderella". Don't ask me why......just a 4 year old reasoning I suppose. She named her hamster the same thing.

I like Grampa Barry's Gutpile....

The Grandbaby has spoken!

I guess we'll have a stand named Panda Princess Ariel Cinderella this year...
Make sure it's one of those sissy screaming eaglets or something not one of the big man Deslodge stands......

Sounds like a great spot for Biggie to sit!!!

I prefer "Dump Shot", "Easy Pickins", "Booner Stand", "Can't Miss", "Book Buck", "Hog City".

Usually I get "The Nursery", "Kindergarden", "Sunday School" "Pre School"

Funny thing is that Biggie and The Wensel's usually set me up!

I should change the name of my tree stand, I guess, right now it is called "the tree stand I put up by my ground blind so no one will put a tree stand by my ground blind and claim the whole damn area for the queen" .  My other one is simply called "The widow maker", it has the same job, just in a different place.

"Devil Head" Home of the huge bodied buck with little spikes.

"The Honey Hole" Shot a sweeeet buck there one day when I was on my Honey's sh*tlist!!

"Juicy Doe"  Favorite hangout for hot Does, and where there's a hot doe....

"Corny Corner" or "Corny Horny Corner" or just "Corny Horny" Kinda modeled after that old song... "Why dont we do it in the corn... no one will be watching us...why dont we do it in the corn?" Ok so the song said "do it in the road" but artistic license can be taken during the rut.

Lucky Stand - first bow kill, and several after
The Oak stand - oak lot
Corner Stand - Inside corner of a field
Condo - A huge tree my Dad talked about building a treehouse size stand in, didn't see any deer so it was never built
Poop Stand - We had just built our hunting cabin that summer.  I had several buddies hunting with me and I had trails cut with stands located along the way.  I would drop a guy off as I walked along with me ending in the Lucky Stand.  The first stand was along a creek below the cabin.  I dropped a buddy off there and as light came on he noticed the ground surrounding him was white with toilet paper.  Apparently that spot was a favorite of one of the guys helping us build the cabin before we got the outhouse built.
Big Oak
Harry's stand - Harry built it
Rock stand - next to a big boulder
It's a buck! - One of my friends was hunting out of this stand on the edge of a swampy area with his son.  His luck hadn't been good for years so I invited him to come hunt with us.  Finally a deer emerges out of the thicket and his son whispers. "Dad, there's a deer."  Then in a slightly louder voice "...and it's a buck!"  Exit deer.

Why do we call them "stands"? Wouldnt "sits" be more appropriate?

The Bates Motel. for all the killin that's taken place.
The Jane Fonda stand {nothing but pigs there}
Three buck
The cow stand {left a climber at the bottom of the tree and found a cow eating the straps off it the next morning}
The crossroads{Four trails come together}
The Kung Fu stand {climbed up into it at the crack of dawn to find a snake waiting and Tom said it look like a Kung Fu movie when I was moving so fast.}
The meat locker.
The White Owl stand.
I'll remember so more and post later.

I want to hear how "Biggie's Upper Lip" got it's name. That's got to be a good one.  :biglaugh:
