Kentucky Elk Lottery
« on: May 20, 2008, 11:04:00 AM »
Did anybody get picked for the Kentucky lottery for hunting elk ?

Haven't seen any of the results posted on the web site yet, and no word in the mail.  Just wondering if anybody else's heard.

Pastor Carl-the site will trace your ssn# for draw results. Just checked mine-no luck for the quota hunt but I can still hunt the fringe areas around the designated quota counties and there are good numbers of elk outside the initial stocking areas now. Good Luck,       Grant

I called the Kentucky wildlife management office, they said they will be posted until tomorrow.  So maybe is still that a chance.

Part of me really wants to get drawn for elk, and part of me doesn't, with gas prices away they are.  But some of the people that live in Kentucky have been e-mailing me.  And I think an elk hunt in Kentucky would be a good one for first-timer.

me a big no go here too!!! But I am the guy who misses out on a wma  whitetail quota with two rejections when there is only a 90+% chance of drawing with two rejections... so With 3 rejections I am sure to be in the 100% this year.... woohooo!!!
