I grew up in a time long before digital or audio, as I suspect many of us did. So I still love the tactile feel of a book and its binding, and the smell of the paper and ink. But I read almost a book per week, and the nearest library is some distance. I’m not a tree hugger either, but I no longer feel the need for all that paper . I have a Kindle digital reader, I can read it anywhere and anytime of day, doesn’t need light, only needs wifi to load the next book, the battery lasts over a week when charged, and its waterproof within reason. Costs more however, cause you can’t buy a used book on it. Maybe someone will figure that out.
