All of us know or know of Gene Wensel. He’s been a huge part of the traditional community for close to 60 years. The Montana Bowhunters Association is proud to have put together two outstanding auction packages with all proceeds going to support Gene and Donna Wensel.
Gene is one of the Montana Bowhunter Association’s founding fathers, and a true bowhunting legend. As many of you may already know, Donna has been in a memory care home with advanced dementia for several years and the costs associated with her care have been enormous.
We would not have the bowhunting opportunity that we do in the state of Montana if Gene had not been sitting at the table back in the early 70’s when the concept of the MBA was born. For all he has given to archery and bowhunting world wide his impact has been immeasurable. This is a fine chance to give back to someone who has directly or indirectly touched all our lives when we’ve been afield looking for that perfect spot to ambush a whitetail buck. Lets see what we can do for Gene and Donna and let the bidding begin!
