New bow day........REVISED!!!!!!!
« on: August 09, 2024, 03:18:36 PM »
Just received my new Hoyt Satori in the Mossy Oak Original Bottomland camo..........love this camo, it's what I started in back in 1986 and still wear it today. As for the Satori--it's the 19" riser/short limb for a 60" bow, which is my favorite combo for my 28" draw length. I got the 60# limbs and they are 63#'s maxed out on my 19" riser---just perfect. Hope you all have a great season!

About my old bows......as you know I've been blessed to own lots of fine bows over the years, BUT they are all gone now.

Good Hunting!

Good luck to you sir!  Don't set that bow against a tree and walk off from it!

Not much of a camo bow guy but I do love the original bottom land.

I'm with you and never really considered a camo bow till they offered this Original Bottomland.

Thanks Duker!

Yep, although I've owned alot of bows over the years I've alway been a one bow kinda guy---when I get the itch to try something I always sell what I have to help fund it........
Guess you can call me a minimalist, BUT shooting one bow and arrow setup really helps my accuracy.

About my old bows......as you know I've been blessed to own lots of fine bows over the years, BUT they are all gone now. This new Satori is my one and only bow.....I hunted a Satori last season and determined it's the bow for me.

Good Hunting!

It takes a lot of strength and commitment to follow through with what you have done , God Knows I have threatened this on numerous occasions..
Inevitably I go back and start collecting and amassing way too many bows.
Anybody know of a good therapy group for me  ???

Felt compelled to revise this post with an update and big changes.........

Here it goes--while the Satori is a great shooting bow I just realized that the metal riser/ILF rigs ain't for me as a hunting bow..........just don't feel the love.

SO.......naturally I'm back to shooting my Black Widow's---love everything about a wood bow and these just fit me perfect!
Also, love to support the great folks at Black Widow bows and I always will.

Hope you all have a great season!

Thanks for the update.  I have been tempted to try a metal riser bow but I am sure I would end up feeling the same about wood.  Have a great season.
