Congratulations to you Mike!!! Another great adventure!!! Great story and pictures!!! Thank you for sharing, as much fun as it sounds, I can't imagine going on a solo hunt in Alaska!!! Especially with a grizzly at 25 yards!!!  Thank you again for sharing.

  First off “Congratulations “ to you and what a story with the Moose charge and the Grizzly you had encountered .
  Now that’s “One with the Wilderness” right there.
  Last week or so I was reading all the posts around about Bart Sleyer and what most had pretty much determined could have been the cause of his passing.
  Well I started thinking about you and actually started a pm but didn’t send it cause something told me inside that Mike is on a Moose hunt this time of year so I reflected on you and Prayed you were having a great time and a safe time by yourself.
  When I saw your post here I jumped right in and read your story and so Happy you were able to once again get that “One with the Wilderness” experience .
I sort of feel “Bart” was like an angel watching over you and showing you what he went through on that day .
 You can only Imagine was this also his experience ?
  What a happy ending on this Moose hunt and your pictures are great .
