Prayer Request
« on: October 07, 2024, 10:19:23 PM »
I'm not sure how many guys still visit here but I need some help from some prayer warriors. My granddaughter was born with a heart defect called HLHS and went through four open heart surgeries before her third birthday and a heart transplant when she was six. She did great with her new heart. I spent a lot of time with her since the day she was born. We would go fishing with me. She loves to Shoot her bows and go hunting with me and has lived with my wife and me several times for months at a time. Well she is twenty one now and started having a few problems about a year ago, a type of rejection. It has progressed to the point that she needs another transplant and they listed her a couple weeks ago so now we are just waiting on the phone call. I know prayer works, I've seen it. I would appreciate it if you guys would pray for  her too " If two or more"...Thank you guys  It means the world to me. I love that girl so much

Thank you all so much. Sorry for the slow response. The transplant happened Thursday. She’s in ICU… they couldn’t close her yet because of swelling and a couple complications but all in all they say she doing well…so many lines and tubes and monitors. Just feel so helpless. Just putting it in his hands but it’s hard.. really hard.

They got her off the ventilator yesterday. Still trying to figure out what is causing low grade fever.. showing some opacity in one of her lungs think maybe light infection. From being on the ventilator for eight days… removed a couple drains…I’m sleeping in her room some nights in my truck in the parking lot the others…making some progress all be it slow…Thank you for your prayers very much!! We surely do live by them.
