Niff T Seat Questions
« on: May 22, 2008, 08:41:00 AM »
How many of you guys use this seat?
Opinions?

I'm looking for a couple to try out.

Probably the most flexable seat out there in that it can be used any where and is light, easy to carry....but lacks a heck of a lot in comfort(IMO).  Also requires some level of coordination since you are setting on a single leg...might also be part of my problem.

If I'm carrying my pack, the Nifty Seat is always there.  Very handy and comfortable for me...Doc

It’s a great seat, very well built and conformable. The single spike design is great because you can use the seat on uneven ground. I don’t think there is a better portable seat for ground hunting available.

Thanks for the opinions. I started out hunting on the ground. Did the treestand thing for several years. I almost forgot how nice it is hunting on the ground. I'll get out of Iraq just in time for deer season and plan to spend most of my time on the ground.

Best seat around IMHO. I love mine. Comfortable, quiet and easily packed and not in the way. Great design. You won't be dissapointed in it.

What Height seems to work the best for bowhunting? 11"or 16"?

I just took these pictures. I think this is called the NT4, it has four different heights depending on how you set it up. It packs up neatly and hangs on your belt for transport.  I'm going to put this in the classifieds soon.
Happy Trails,
Chad

Like tippit and Mel, it's always in my pack.  The best portable seat I've used or seen.

Check out Git-R-Done Archery.  They are a sponser here.  They have the T-seat.  Very similar to the Nifty seat but only cost $15 bucks.  Look under "neat stuff".

I bought the Nifty Seat about 6 years ago at the Eastern Sportsmans Show in Harrisonburg.  It goes with me on every hunt. Its well worth the money.
