I mentioned earlier that I don't think it makes a big difference where it's placed in the stack on a recurve. I just finished two td recurves with stack of .243, one bow has the stabilcore in the middle and the other right under the back glass. Both bows have colored glass and boo cores. The bow with it right under the back glass roughed in at 53# and the one in the middle was 51#, so very close. Both sets of limbs feel very stable and twist resistant. Both sets of limbs tracked perfect, needing no adjustments. I'll keep using it in the future.
