Heart shot doe
« on: November 05, 2024, 04:21:41 PM »
Nice fat doe at 12 yards with my 50 pound thunderstick mag, black eagle vintage arrow, and zwicky 135g eskalite broadhead. Complete pass through and the only time I’ve ever had a deer barely react to getting shot. Flinched from the sound then walked away and died no more than 30 yards from where she was shot. Now if I can get my 2024 trad bow buck….

Dang nice arrow placement, congratulations!

You Done Goos!
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
