I have a hanging unit heater in my garage/shop that I use to keep it comfortable when I'm working on projects.
It is not on all the time, I will typically turn it on when I get home from work and by the time I change clothes and eat dinner the shop is nice and toasty.
On extremely cold days, I may not even go out there, because I'm too cheap to burn the fuel needed to keep it warm.
So, I have several different supplies (glue, contact cement, spray urethane, True Oil...etc) that will sit out in the shop and go through multiple cycles of heat and cold, mostly cold this time of year. Anyone in a similar situation? How do you store your supplies? I'm thinking about setting up a shelf down in the basement where the supplies will stay warm and transport them to the shop as needed.
Also, any concerns about keeping your batteries from battery powered tools in the cold? I have accumulated a fair amount of Milwaukee hand tools with a pile of batteries that are always sitting in the shop.
