Nailed it.
« on: January 18, 2025, 09:08:35 AM »
I really nailed it today. ;) When glueing up a HH or DR bow with several lams I wanted a way to glue both sides of the last short wood lam that goes up the ramps on the riser before placing it on the stack.

Hey Bue, when you're done building the bow you can do a little Hindu meditation on that board.

That's cool.

I simply apply glue to the glass, apply glue to one side of the wood, lay it on the glass glue-to-glue, apply glue to the 2nd side of the wood, then pick up both pieces together and lay it on the stack. So all glue is applied while flat on the table.

Would that not work for you?

Bue when I was very young a kid in the neighborhood made the exact same thing  as you except it was a foot long. Then he put it in a brown paper bag and and placed it on the street next to our park. After a single episode of hiding in the bushes and witnessing the outcome I knew right then and there it wasnt "Right".

I am assuming youre rethinking it too :biglaugh:

We used to put dog chit in a bag, put it on the front porch, then light it on fire and knock on the door....Of course the owner of the house would come racing out stomp out the fire.... :biglaugh:  :biglaugh:

Boy did we get in trouble for that stunt... :o :o
