American Leathers gloves
« on: February 13, 2025, 11:51:22 AM »
Huge shout out to folks at this place. I sent my kangaroo crossover in because I'd worn it out. She called and discussed the repair , and I got it exactly how I wanted it.  Buffalo reinforcement in stalls instead of nylon, 1/2" longer strap  for cold weather with gloves.

Awesome outfit, I couldn't be happier with the repair.

New glove for $35.50 to the house instead of $75 plus whatever shipping.   :archer2:
Stay sharp, Kenny.

I had a very good experience with them. I debated whether to post this or not because I thought some people might call them, and want something for free.

I think I have every glove they make. I had a kangaroo crossover, and it didn't come back to where my wrist started,it was too short, and very hard to get it latched because it was almost around my hand. They started to offer the full shot again, and I wanted to try it. I called and said that all my gloves fit except the kangaroo one,and wanted to make sure on the sizing of the fullshot, and Lori said that the large gloves were all cut on the same die. I said o.k. I'll order a large then just like the rest of them, and didn't think any more of it.

When I got my package I was very surprised to see the fullshot in the package, and a brand new kangaroo crossover that fit perfectly.

You just don't find customer service like this anymore!! The fullshot is my favorite glove from them, but I do like the kangaroo too.

Alexander Traditional, do you have to really peel that full shot off? I've been thinking about ordering one for a while, but they look like a tight fit around the half-fingers, if that makes sense. Never actually got to handle one in person.

I didn't have time to post earlier when I just posted the link....

I have four of their gloves. I started using them twenty years ago. Once I used their glove, I never looked back or for another manufacturer period.   I own 4 because I bought enough to last me. The rest of my life as many times good things disappear.

We have been showcasing these gloves at the Laredo Tusk Roundup for years and everyone likes them. I don't know how many have been sold from those hunts. But I do know that we have converted a tab shooter to one.  :jumper:

It is harder to get off than other gloves, but once you get it down it's not bad. I pull each finger with my other hand and get them loose and then pull it all together. I like the tight feel, and it's deer hide,so it's much more limber than the others.

I have 3, 2 kangaroo crossover and and elk that I bought when shutz’s son had the business. Had the elk refurbished a couple years ago now. But $35 beats buying a new one and they improved the strap attachment. Just saying I am a happy customer

I love my Buffalo Crossover.  Best glove I've used.
