I could remove the label on the gt trad classic xt’s but not the gt trads. Anyone with any tips?

It did on classics. But on the regular gt traditionals, that blank writing it wouldn’t

it could be shaft material and not a label.

I use acetone and 4/0 steel wool

No doubt. It’s different between the two. One is easily removable with acetone. The other is like it’s part of the arrow finish. It’s fine. It is the better label of the two. I don’t like the big label in the classics. But it comes off. The traditionals is not so bad. But if it could have been removed those arrows look wood more so.

You could also try a 2" square of sandpaper: wrap the sandpaper around the shaft and use moderate finger pressure while concurrently sliding and rotating the labelled area of the shaft through the sandpaper.

Sand a thin layer off, clean up with an acetone wetted cotton ball or tp square.

Repeat until offending label/logo is gone.

0000 fine steel wool or light finishing grade of sand paper.
Have patience, it will come off. It's worked every time for me without damaging the finish of the shaft.

I’m not an expert on it. I have used it to remove glue from wraps. As well as after cutting arrows, using it to swab inside. No issues but I do see google says it can break down resins etc. I know when I’ve used it. I mostly swabbed inside the arrow with a Q-tip. It evaporates nearly instantly so I’m sure no issues , but I wouldn’t leave it submersed overnight.

I guess it is a personal preference, but I don't see a practical reason for trying to remove labels at the risk of damaging the shafts.

Not sure what I used Alcohol or Acetone with steel wool but I got it all off and it didn't hurt the shafts. Looked like a wood arrow when I was done. Kurt

Steel wool and acetone will take it off but it takes some rubbing make sure you use latex gloves not Vinal
