Happy Birthday.
I'm a sprightly 65 and I was introduced to archery by an aunt who shot target archery in college (Syracuse U.) pre-Boy Scouts. She graduated with a Baccalaureate in Science when not many women were doing it. I used a light draw fiberglass bow (Indian, Pearson or Shakesphere?) And, like everything in my world at that time, an older cousin, older brother, and slightly older cousin had used it before me. Bows, clothes, Mad Magazines. It didn't matter. I also did some single pin target archery in college with a 36# Damon/Howatt Monteray. My style is still more closed and upright than, say, dear departed Fred Abell, who looked like he was passing a kidney stone when shooting.

By no strange coincidence my wife, of 45 years, reminds me a great deal of my Aunt Lois.
