serious tuning help needed for my new Hill

I have just been working up some aluminum arrows for  my 68@29 Howard Hill---I draw 29".

I am using 30" arrows, and am finding that a 2117 with a 250 grain field point is flying best.

My goal is to tune to a 30" arrow with 250 grains out front, to match my draw and have a 125 grain glue on snuffer on a 125 grain adapter for whitetail.  The 2117 weighs 662 grains total with this setup. It also gives a pretty good FOC, though I don't particularly know what I am talking about---new to trad, haven't downed a deer yet with the longbow.

Take that TS-1 string off of that bow and get a Dacron string!  Once you have don that you will have no more tuning problems.  All that string is doing is magnifying every single small error you make with a release so get rid of it and go with something more forgiving...Dacron.

I just wanted to post an update on my tuning.  I finally found the right arrow combination to work out of my Wesley.  31.5" beman 400, with 275 grains up front, flies beautifully out of my bow, and penetrates real well with 175 grizzlies as well.  I was surprised at how weak an arrow the bow wanted, my JD Berry at the same weight wanted a 340 with 250 up front.  Anyway, the arrows are flying great and hitting hard, thanks for all you help on this guys.
