1st ever turkey
« on: May 26, 2008, 04:17:00 PM »
Well at last I got one, always had them close enough for a compound but always reluctant to shoot those distances with a curve.  This isn't the biggest in the books but it was tasty none the less. 8" beard, 3/4" spurs and just a hair under 20 lbs for what it's worth.

Hahahahaha.....don't miss that too much. I put the snow shovel away for the lawn mower two months ago.
Erica is trying to get a turkey now, she's put in a great effort but to no avail yet....we still have 5 days left.
Talk to you later,
Rick
