Where to Hunt Hogs for a group of friends?
« on: May 26, 2008, 09:53:00 PM »
I am trying to help our club, from Maryland, put together a hog hunt.  I've read many of you write about both Texas and the Southeast states.
We would like the opinion of you all (y'all in WV), for places and outfitters you suggest.  We don' want to spend an arm and a leg, but we don't wan to be so cheap that we waste our best chances.  We're hoping to put together a group of 6-8 hunters who enjoy sitting around a campfire at night and eating wild game.
Thanks.

There's a place in Monroe Co. WV. to hog hunt.

Thanks for all the info.  I am checking Ray's email now and look forward to giving hogs a try.
Anymore suggestions are welcome.  Also, any helpful hints on preparing for a hog hunt.

SSWV,
I am looking for free-ranging, like Ray talks about.

I don`t see how you could do better than hunting with Ray.Not real far away for you and if you look it up you`ll see a lot of dead critters that come off the place. There is not a more beautiful and life filled place than a southern Swamp and plus Ray IS a traditional pig hunter.RC
