bow quiver
«

I shoot a one piece, recurve. I was wondering if a bow quiver that is the slide on or one of the others, will effect the way my limbs work. Will it mess up arrow flight, and make them fly diffrently. I heard it will?? If anyone knows or has some advice holler back. Thanks

Have not had that happen when installed properly. Of course I don't like bow quivers for other reasons and my experience with them is limited ... but again - no.

There are far too many people using them still for there to be a problem, I have a longbow and see no adverse effect on limbs,
The way it feels maybe, but once you get used to it any other quiver would feel awkward

As long as the bow quiver straps on below the limb/riser fadeouts all will be just fine.
Also, IMO, get as light a bow quiver as possible. I never liked using bow quivers 'til I discovered the ultra light Eagle's Flight.

i agree with rob distefano.
i also have a five arrow truglo circular bow quiver that fits my hoyt gamemaster very well and is extremely light weight. (i cannot find them from truglo any longer...i think vortexx bought the patent rights)
years ago, i had a model bowquiver that held a dozen arrows...WOW! was that a mistake!

i was told by a sales person, when purchasing an out-of-date newpaper that it was out-of-date...
i told her "i've been told i'm out-of-date, too"...
does that mean i'm up-to-date?

I also agree with Rob,
I have a 4 arrow eagle flight quiver, and it does not affect the efficiency of the bow, it easy to put on and they do not slide around if installed properly, the most common mistake is people do not trim them to fit their bow limbs. They are a great quiver. I have the one pictured above with a deer print on the front.
I'll be purchasing a second one for my Whisperstik that will be here in about a week.
