Bought a '64 bear polar and want to prep some arrows for its arrival.  It is 45# at 28 and I draw 28.25-28.5.  What do you recommend?

1916.
Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Thanks Killdeer.  By the way, we decided to get my wife a 45#er.  Not this one though.  It a gift to myself.  Lighter than usual for me but oh so pretty.  At her draw length that equates to about 36-39 pounds.

Bear Heart, my wife has a custom longbow 36# at her draw of 24". She shoots 1716 aluminum cut to 28" with 100 grn. points.
Ditto on Killys suggestion of 1916 for your bow. Hope this helps.
