Welcome to the best Trad site on the internet. I have been through Boerne many times. Really miss Rudy's BBQ in Leon Spring and Coopers just up the road. Greatest BBQ in the world.

Welcome from Houston.  My sister lives in Boerne and teaches in San Antonio. Ever hunt Aransas National Wildlife Refuge? It's the best.  If you're interested and haven't let me know and I'll give you the info. Hunt is $60.00 to hunt 35,000 acres of the wildest country in Texas - loaded with hawgs, deer, alligator (big ones) bobcat, etc. and just a few mosquitoes from time to time:) Last year though there were none. Truthfully and it was great. Hunt is the first 10 days of archery season in October.

Welcome.

Congrats on gettin' here!   :wavey:     You must be one of the good folk... cause it seems that's all they let register here!

I've been through Boerne a few times, but never spent enough time there, usually just passing through.  That's some beautiful country.

Thanks for making me feel so welcome here folks.  Just cruising around the site, I've already found a ton of information that I haven't been able to find anywhere else.
I picked up my new/old Texas Recurves "Brush Buck" last night.  I have another post here about that bow and will be posting pics later.
It was short lived happiness as DPS picked me off on Hwy 46 for going 69 in a 60.  OUCH!  The funny part was that I had just checked my GPS and it said I was going 61.2 which is what I told the Trooper.  I didn't want to argue too much with him due to the fact that, being in transition home from a drilling job in Louisiana, I had a .44 under the seat that didn't need to draw any attention.
Such is life.   Long after the ticket is forgotten, I'll still have the bow to shoot.
I look forward to flinging some arrows with you folks.

I've been to the aransas wildlife refuge.  Huge deer.  One of the biggest I've ever seen in the wild.  I also saw gators and of course Texas sized mosquitos.  I graduated high school in Portland, Tx, just outside of Corpus Christi.
Jesus died for us!  Following him brings us closer to God.  Think about it!
