AMO?
« on: June 04, 2008, 04:01:00 PM »
What does AMO mean? And is the length on a bow always the length of the unstrung bow?
Thanks

A bow length that is built to AMO standards would be the length of the string when twisted to give the correct brace height plus 3".If you have a 57" string on your bow your bow is 60"AMO. Makes things very easy when buying a new string.

The AMO booklet is posted in the How-To section.
