Best carbon arrow spine
«

I've been shooting trad for a year now, I've bent all my aluminum 1916's, their just too dang weak, they fly good but are expensive. I'd like to find a carbon arrow that will shoot well out of my bow. I have a Bear Grizzly 50 lb. that I'm pulling about 26-26.5 inches. I would like to hunt with these arrows as well. Thanks

For that setup, I would recommend Carbon Express Heritage 90s. I think that 150s will be too stiff for you because you have quite a short draw length.

Yep, the Heritage 90's would be the way to go.

I shoot the 150 Heritage, but leave them 29" for my 27" draw shooting 48-50# bows. I have not tried the 90's, but agree they may work better for you.

IMHO, it's almost mandatory to test out as many carbons as possible to see what'll work best for yer bow and you. At least for me, carbons on the weak side just work best. Took me a long time to figure that out and not to trust the carbon manufacturer's arra charts.
Good luck - and you might wanna try our pass-around carbon arra test kit ...

Thanks boys! I may take a ride up to the local archery shop and see if he'll let me test drive a few sticks.
