There are alot of variables in picking a spine. What is your draw length is one.You can most likely shoot either Axis 500's and 400's with a recurve cut past center and how heavy of an arrow you are looking to end up with.I would maybe go with Axis 400's and add alittle weight up front and tune from there. For Selway quiver you can get a replacement gripper made for carbons at 3Rivers and Kustom King.

I haven't had any experience with Axis arrows, but I have had a lot of experience with Carbon Express, and they come highly recommended for trad!  ;)  (You'd probably want to be using CX Heritage 150s if you decide to try CX out...)
As for the Selway quiver, I've got one on my Silvertip recurve, and it's a great quiver!
Good luck!

I would suggest looking at AD Trads as I do not think there is any arrow of any material that is as easy to get shooting straight out of most any stickbow as these. There may be a few who dislike them for one reason or another, but there seems to be ten times as many people who cannot find a way to make them shoot poorly. I've never encountered an arrow shaft as forgiving in over three decades of shooting stickbows.

Call Ted Fry and he'll square you away.

Glad you spoke up Daddy Bear , I was going to get on and suggest the same , the AD would be my bet for a fool proof arrow.

Give aluminum a try for a good mass weight arrow . I would think 2018 cut to 30in. with 145 grain tips would be perfect .

Another vote for ADs....for the same reasons posted above.

My stock 29 inchers weight 580 grains with a 175 grain head.  That's 80 grains more than the 2114 alumimums I use to shoot years ago with the same head.  So they have a good mass weight as well.

For new trad archers I always recommend aluminum. For your application 2018's at 29" would be very hard to beat.  Good luck....Van

I'd vote for the CX heritage arrows. Being new, you'll undoubtedly be shooting them into rocks & walls and all sorts of abuse. Mine take it and are good as new.
