That`s my girl
« on: June 22, 2008, 11:26:00 AM »
Well, i bet i have the only 13 daughter in world with a bow target in her bed room.(mom don`t no yet     ) We are getting ready for a July pig hunt..I MUST SAY WE ARE PUMPED   :jumper:   . This is probably going to be a anally ofter schools out trip for us. I have been trying to have Sara tweak her anchor point an been stressing form, so she said, "dad just put a target in my bed room an i`ll work on it every night before i go to bed." She also wants to make up her own arrows an put her own touch on them. So i ordered the stuff an it should be here Monday, i`m really glad she is interested in all this stuff. Just thought i would share this with the fathers out there. Hopefully we can add a good pork story to this thread at the end of July...I'll Let ya know how she fairs out

Nice.  My little girl is 4 weeks old, and when she doesn't want to sleep at night we watch the outdoor channel and talk about the animals.  Hopefully one day she'll want to share my passion with me.

just keeper involved my daughter started shooting on her own at 1&half an hasn`t stopped yet. I would put her in her carrier every night an set her beside me while i practiced almost from the time she was born en till she could walk.. then i bought her a bow.I didn`t do this with all that in mind i was just being me an got lucky. The rest is history now, i hope i have instilled something she will never out grow. For the last 6yrs she`s been my best hunting buddy an good luck charm. I wish the same to u! GOOD LUCK...

Thats wonderful, Hattrick. I love to here stories like yours. I also have a great relationship with my daughter because of what we did together when we were younger. Jim
