Helping my daughter stop smoking w/ archery
« on: February 19, 2007, 01:30:00 PM »
My daughter(19) smokes    . When I went outside to plunk a few arras I saw a lighter in the yard. She leaves lighters everywhere she smokes(outside). I found one at one of my shooting spots so I took it to my bag. Second arrow at 17 yards and poof! No more lighter! LOL!   :wavey:  . Can't wait to tell her where her lighter is!  :D

That may not have the desired effect you're looking for. As one person shared with me one time the Bible teaches 7 fold so she planned on finding something the other person had that was worth 7 times the value of the property destroyed. When it comes to smoking the harder you nag the more you push them the other way. The fact she's 19 just makes it all that much more likely.  :)

A long time ago, I think I remember correctly, I seen Byron Ferguson shoot out a lit cig, from a styrofoam wig head. He was in the "no smoke'n" section !

Medium sized lighter. Oh I know it will have no effect on her smoking, at least I will not have hit that lighter with my mower in a few weeks when the grass starts growing.

It was very gratifying to be able to hit a target that small having not shot much since deer season closed.
