My Newest Shrew added to My Collection
« on: June 23, 2008, 10:19:00 PM »
Well as a lot of you who were there saw Gregg had my newest Shrew ready for me and waiting at Comptons.  Let me just tell you he hit the ball out of the park on this one.  It is a 58" 53#@28" Shrew Scout.  The riser is Cocobola and Birdseye Maple, the limbs veneers are Tamo Ash.  It has Stag horn tip and riser overlays.  This bow is drop dead gorgeous and a great shooter to boot!  Thanks again Ron and Gregg for making a top notch bow!  I think I may have a new favorite Shrew with this one!!  Here are some pics to enjoy:

Tim, I promise if Ron did not have a sold sign on that bow  I would have bought 2 Shrews home with me. You are right about it looking GREAT. Everyone that I saw said how nice it looked. Your not gonna hunt with it are you?? Congrates on a great choice.

Dan, I have to admit when I told Gregg I wanted the Tamo Ash I thought they would turn out pretty light colored.  I couldn't have been more wrong.  This thing turned out fantastic!  It will most definatly be in the woods with me this fall!!

Thats a real awesome looker thier Tim.I would spend some quality time with it in the Fall as well.If the deer arent moving you can always pass the time just gazing on that sweet piece of work.

Enjoy!!!

Dude that is one of the nicest looking Shrews I've seen.  Love the wood combo and the way it was put together!

ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!! Let someone else get one (LOL)!  Some people invest in gold, some the market, others real-estate, Tim buys Shrews.....  Very Nice!!!!!

Bob, I am just hoping all my bows go up in value some day!!  Seems like a pretty good retirement plan to me!

Jeff, I think the Shrew Haven minimum is 10!!  I have a ways to go yet and dont know if I will make it before the wife kills me!!!
