Sheepeater first impressions
« on: June 27, 2008, 07:54:00 PM »
I got my Sheepeater today and my first impression was, wow, this is a little bow! I looked it over and it looks very good. I immediatly strung it up and wow, this is a little bow. I took it outside with a set of untuned arrows, and was thinking, I hope I can shoot this short bow ok.  Then I let the first arrow fly and thought, wow this shoots like a big bow. I did not feel any hand shock at all and this bow flings the arrows pretty quick. I could not tell any difference in the shootability between this bow and the 66" longbow that I used to shoot. I love the traditional grip with the floppy arrow rest and the rattan grip. To sum up, I shot till my shoulder was sore and I can not wait to get this easy shooting bow in the woods. I am very happy with my little bow with its big spirit. Thank you Brent  :bigsmyl:

Sheepeater,is the ONLY bow that short that i have ever enjoyed shootin.Dont feel that short at all.
Target archery is seeing how far away you can get and still hit the bull's eye. Bowhunting is seeing how close you can get and never miss your mark.

Welcome Ollie. You have you some fun and good luck with that bow. Guys, I had posted pics earlier of this bow for Ollie. Search Sheepeater and it is A new Sheepeater for Michael Humphrey, or something like that.

Ollie, forgot to put your Tonkin shafts in the box. I will get them out to you when I get set up in WV.
