I have two old Fred Bear shooting gloves. I have not seen one for sale in years. Too bad -- they are great. Nothing better is being made now.

Damascus or bare fingers for me.  I really like to feel the string.

American Leathers Big Shot. Loved it so much. I bought a back up to stash as well!
Someday you and I will take the Great Hart by our own skill alone, and with an arrow. And then the Little Gods of the Woods will chuckle and rub their hands and say, "Look, Brothers. An Archer! The Old Times are not altogether gone!"

Grizzly's standard leather shooting glove.  The leather in the fingertips is just right.  Only trouble is that I go through 1 or 2 a year.  I'd love to use a cordovan glove to get more wear, but they're too stiff and I can't get my anchor right.  Or even a nylon tipped glove, but they're too soft.  My only option is to keep buying the Grizzly's.  :^)

3 rivers duraglove.  I shot one for over a year and then gave it to my brother.  He is still using it.  Don't worry I had a new one in my hands before I gave it up.

I've never found a glove I like. None leave enough feeling. I get a mechanix glove and glue a srip of thin leather onto the fingers. Gives just the right feel to me. Cheap too............comparatively

Bayoulongbowman,
I'd never heard of them either 'till this year. I picked one up out of the blue at the local Brandenburg Huntin' and Fishin' store. I've shot a Damascus for years. A buddy of mine was over the other night and I gave him my Damascus. They have a good thick finger on 'em but are very pliable and cost about 17 bucks. I bought another one and my cousin liked it so well I gave him that one. Gotta' get another now I always keep a back-up. I looked 'em up on the net and couldn't come up with anything. I'll ask the guy in B'Burg and get back with 'ya.

PDQ Super Glove. I have been shooting them for years, but they wear out about every six months. Black Widow let me test one with Kevlar stitching which has now just started to wear thru after one year.
…finally, not because I regard fishing as being so terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant - and not nearly so much fun. (John Voelker)

American Leathers BUFFALO Big Shot.  Awesome glove!  Awesome customer service too.  I was extremely impressed, and continue to be every time I shoot.
All the best,
Glenn

I like the feel of the Big Shot on the string and at release but until they get that big wad of stitched leather off the back of the shooting fingers I'll stick with the Superglove or a Damascus.
