Changing Tiller? Question
« on: June 29, 2008, 02:32:00 PM »
Hello gang. Thanks in advance for any info..

If I get a recurve changed from split to three under tiller, will it loose weight? Or is it possible to re-tiller a bow without loosing weight? It is a one piece Black Widow Recurve... Thanks again.
Blessings,
Steve

Steve,
It may lose a pound or two...shouldn't be much.

IMO, it's not worth changing, i.e., tinkering with the bow's limbs.  Can accomplish the same thing by setting your nock point a little higher.

Thanks Mike... Probably no sense in doing it, but I gotta have a handle cut down so figured I'd get it re tillered while I was at it.. I looked for the other bow you spoke of. I couldn't find it???
Blessings,
Steve
