I picked up a new bow this past spring, and now just ordered a new custom from the same bowyer. However I think this is a good thread for Deadsmple to chime in.    :readit:

There's a whole lot WORSE addictions, believe me...I've had THEM too!    :(    Fortunately, my wife is happy when I'm happy, so she doesn't pay any attention to what I have on my bow rack.

BUT, if she KNEW what I actually have spent on the 10 or so custom/collectible bows I currently have, lets just say I might be buying a LOT more womens shoes and jewelry than anything else for a loooong time!   :knothead:

I don't know about the rest of the wives, but I personally am GLAD I am married to a bowaholic, because when I come in the front door loaded down with bags of shoes, purses and pretty things if I get a funny look from the Mister all I have to say is ...."SILVERTIP"

Danny I shot those bows years ago when Harrison first started building them. They were HOT HOT bows back then with big performance advantages over many other bows....THAT right there is a beauty...and I'm sure its gonna be a pig-gigger for sure.

Do you know yet if you are coming back? I need a dip in the pool, man its HOT in Gawgia!

Well Ray, ya know my love hate relationship with longbows, hopefully thisun will treat me good. Still shoot the Brack best, though my new Dye Trails End is right there with it.

Not sure when I will be coming back. I hope for a permanent position there but if nothing else maybe in Oct or Nov for another 120 day detail, we shall see.

It's not like you can go into a store and try out 8 to 10 trad bows...you've got to buy them and shoot them! I understand. But now that I have found THE bow for me the "desire to acquire" has dropped off...that said, I do have 2 of these recurves and one on order! Sold all the others. Can't hardly believe it. But I have found out what I like and the ones I don't. I wonder how long this will last?  ;)

8-10,LOL. If I told you all of the bows I have bought, sold, traded in the last 9 or so years you would be agast. I gave myself a headache just trying to remember them all,LOL.
