New to me Silvertip.
« on: June 30, 2008, 12:25:00 PM »
I saw this bow in the classifieds and could not help Myself. Cocobola riser with stripe and boo limbs with Splated Norwegian Birch vaneers. 54# @ 28" . This is the first "Tip" I have owned and can say it is not going anywhere. It will be a permenant addition to the stable. Quiet and fast WOW. All my other bows are jelouse with envy. I can not stop shooting her. I'll post pics tonight.

The stable now consists of

Acaidian Woods Treestick
Caribow Silverfox
Habu Death Adder
Schaffer Silvertip
Morrision Cheyene
Morrision Shawnee with Dakota limbs
Blacktail Elite VL (sometime this year)
"Then Peter said unto them. Repent all of you and be baptized in the Name of Jesus for remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:38

Congratulations, the Silvertip is a superb bow.  I had one and if it had been a little lighter I'd still have one.  Probably the smoothest drawing bow I've had and solid as a rock.  Yours is a nock-out.   :clapper:

I've got 3 on my rack now and STILL get turrets when I see one for sale! My wife will say "What are you cussin' under your breath about now?"

"Nuttin' Honey"....."       (mumble") I don't need another Schafer, I DON'T need another Schafer!!!
