Bow class ,Pig hunt / Raptor & 7th age bowhunting
« on: July 02, 2008, 01:38:00 PM »
Well here it is guys and gals , Curtis and I have teamed up to do a Ted Fry Self bow class along with Curtis Kellar spot and stalk pig seminar(Curtis is the man when it comes to pig hunting) in Texas.
The dates we decided to have are starting October 22 nd going to October 26th, we were going to do this in November but decided it best to change due to the Texas deer season( pigs will be running all over the place when the shooting starts).
We will meet at Curtis's Rancho grande! Lodging will be there, Classes in the Am and hunting the afternoon evening, doesnt get any better than that.
You can contact Raptor Archery or 7th age bowhunting for sign up and info.
Lets go hunting!

Great Bjorn , it would be good to hunt with you and Adam. My son Jesse will be on the trip as well.
Flying into San Antonio and I would wait ans see who all is signed up and rent a car together and save $ as well as get to know everyone.

Three things I've been wanting to do...

1. Hunt with my bud Curtis again(been way too long)

2. Meet Ted Fry

3. learn how to build a self bow

Could have done it all in one trip....just not good timing with the job I'm on.....hopefully sometime down the road...best of luck to everyone

Ted and Curtis teamed up?  :help:
Good thing Jesse will be there to keep you boys in line  :p

Had the pleasure of hunting with Ted, Curtis and Jesse last year. If you like selfbows and hunting hogs these two guys are the best.
Jesse, age not withstanding ,is the best stalker of ground squirrels I've seen.

"Five guys are gonna have a great time!"

You got that right Guru!
