Pics of my new bow
« on: July 03, 2008, 11:15:00 PM »
This bow was finished in March and I have just gotten around to taking some pictures.  Of course it is a Black Widow.  Osage and Bubinga, 48lbs at my draw.  I had the Widow boys sand the horns off as much as they could, and the grip is a tweener, not quite low, but not quite medium.  I think it turned out quite nice.

the absence of the horns really makes for striking looks, it looks like you have a bow i have never seen before even though I own one myself.  Excellent foresight.

Out of curiosity what is the writing on the bow?

Very interesting Osage on your bow.  Very nice, I really like the profile of it with the horns sanded down.  Sent you a PM...Mike

I agree, really sharp looking Widow there.  Striking grain in those limb veneers and it goes very well with the riser.  Never thought about sanding the horns off.  Now that's smooth.  One of the nicest Widow's I've ever seen.

Thanks for all the nice words. On the limb I had everyone who works for Widow sign the bow, and I had Roger write my kids names on the Riser.  So unless someones kids are named Gavynn Rae and Riley Cole, I guess I won't be selling the bow.

Happy 4th.

Roger and Black Widow always seem to exceed expectations. They have for me everytime.

Beautiful bow.

You just have to love a Widow.

Very nice!!! Did you have them add the caps under the limb bolts, or are they putting those on all of them now???
