show me Black Widows in Tulipwood
« on: July 08, 2008, 03:16:00 PM »
I've been debating ordering a Black Widow Tulipwood PAX.  I got bewitched by the one reviewed in TBM and I'd love to see what other Tulipwood Widows look like.  Anybody have pics?

Here's a Tulipwood riser.

Kinda tough to tell but it's a pretty blonde wood with nice looking reddish streaks though it.

Hope this helps.

Otto, I was hoping to see the PSA-X riser in Tulipwood.  It's hard to choose between the PSA-X and the PA-X.  Do you have a picture of the limbs?

Here's a collage of the Widow I'm currently lusting after:

Big_Al.

Mine is a PSA-X riser.  The limbs on it though are osage with copperhead skins on em.  Pics of the limbs are in the other "Exotic Widow" thread that's still going.

If it was me....if I KNEW the #'ge of the bow I wanted and wasn't worried about another set of limbs or the take down feature, I'd go with the PA-X model.  In fact, that's what my next Widder will be.

A.S., got any pics of the riser?  I'm curious to see if all the Tulipwood Widows look good, or if the one I'm drooling over was just an extra-pretty one they sent to TBM.

Ben, Thanks!

Charlie, the grip is the old LAG grip that I prefer to the standard PL grip.

Thanks Greg,
Its even got some mojo - the first two arrows on the string (even before I put a nockpoint on it) claimed two rabbits! Altho I didn't even see a deer this past season when I was hunting with it.
