I'll just be happy with the whole killin' deer part...hoping this season will bring my first one. No camo should make it all the more special...

Hi All,

My all-time-heart-thumping deer experience (12 points at twelve feet) was a non camo event;   blue jeans and a navy blue cordaroy coat!

They did look up a couple of times, but I think maybe they weren't really looking at me. Because I should have been pretty easy to spot standing there, but maybe since I was shaking like a leaf I blended right in  :) .

Nope,  camo is fun.  I don't worry about brands or matching, but I've loved camo since I was a kid and it always makes me happy to put some on whether I'm hunting or not.  It's too hot in south GA for wool plaid and alpine hats with feathers most of the time, anyway.  Tge  :p

I am in as well. While in exile here in the great white north (Michigan) for work I have been thrift storing like crazy. I found a couple pair of light weight wool slacks, plain flannel plaid shirts and Dockers dyed with RIT berries to be a nice forest green.  Whole outfit costs around $8.00. I will also be hunting from the ground.

First deer I ever killed I was wearing jeans and a red checkered flanel shirt and a baseball cap. Deer didn't seem to mind. I'm all for it.

I'm Game, I'll be wearing bluejeans, a black hoody under my sun-bleached carharts, and my lucky boonie hat.

I'll have my 70# Tomahawk, knife, sharpener, file for my broadheads, huntin' pack, and bino's.

I've killed game without Scent Blocker. The amout of game I see using it though gives me a much better variety and choice.
