brace height for a yamaha recurve?????

and i thought they only made motorbikes!! can anyone give me a brace height for this- yamaha y6 or yb(one of the two) 66" 33#. thats all it says on the bow. i've been asked to make a string for it but need to know the brace first. how many strands of B-50 while still fitting the arrow nock? anyone got any info at all about it. it hasn't got a motor it it still okay to shoot? LOL

I would make it about 3" shorter than the bow and twist it a little to get brace right
Three things you cant take back, time past, harsh words and a well sped arrow

If you are using B-50 be sure to allow for 1/2" of stretch.  BH for that bow will start at 8" and twist up until quiet.  I'd make it a 14 strand unless you want to add short pieces in the serving area to bulk it out for nock fit.  14 will be way more than the bow needs but it will be up to you as to how much work you want to put into the string.  I hate trying to wax extra pieces onto the string and then serve over them.
