New Guy
« on: July 14, 2008, 11:17:00 AM »
I just wanted to say hey to everybody, I just joined the site.

I’m new to trad. archery/bowhunting and it looks like I’m jumping in feet first

I got the bug to buy a longbow a few months ago and then (After reading many buildalongs) I decided to try and build one instead!

I order a kit from Bingham’s and have been busy building the oven and press. Will start on the bow soon. I’m sure that I will have a lot of questions and I wanted to know what area of the site would be the best to post bow building questions?

Thanks

Welcome.

You will get a ton of information from this site.  Some of the best people that I have ever talked to are on here.  Good luck with your build along and I hope you are successful this year with it.
Treat others as you would want to be treated.

This is a life long disease with no cure. I hope they never find one either.
