Beaver, another thing to consider is the durability of carbons. As mentioned ya can lose wood as well, but carbons hold up to much more abuse. I used to shoot woodies and I would go through at least 4-5 dozen a year stump shooting and hunting. I went to carbons about 5 years ago and still have a few arrows left from my original dozen. Oh, to address the original topic I agree with SteveB, shoot what ya want. I know I shoot Heritage 150s with 150 grain Snuffers. I can do a dozen for with BHs for $110 and they will last me a few years easily, that is cheap really! Shawn
