59 Kodiak Form coordinates/template
«

I am going to be making a 59 Kodiak replica in the near future. I was wondering if anyone has done a template for this bow form in 64 inch. I can probably scan on a CMM from my 59 Kodiak but thought I would ask first to see if anyone has already done this and save myself some time. I would be willing to pay a reasonable fee for a copy of the XY coordinates that could be put into a CNC program or a copy of a CNC program. Maybe others might also be interested. - jwingman

Well....that looks like a NO jwingman 8^). Maybe you could get hold of John McDonald of Big River Bows and see what he has to say...or Randy Dehnel of Saxon. Randy makes a 62" version.

Jim,, I haven't done one, but have a 64" '59 I could trace for you, if that helps.

I have a 59 to trace and I may get it on a CMM and do the reverse engineering thing. I can do the CNC program too, I was just looking to save myself some time maybe.
If and when I get this all done, I will make the information available to others in the tradgang family.
Thanks for the replies and information. - jwingman

Maybe your 50th anniversary but mine is gone and passed a while back! The older I get - the better I was!
