arrow suggestions please....
« on: July 20, 2008, 02:40:00 PM »
I have a new Morrison Cheyenne (computer is presently down, but pics to follow soon).  I want to try some aluminums. Specs as follows:

Morrison Cheyenne, 56 inches, 52 lbs.
draw length 26 1/2
arrow length 27 1/2
broadhead weight: Silver Flame 210 gr.

Speaking out of experience (I find the charts kind of spotty), with shaft is best?   THANKS in advance.     :)    :)

Is that 52lbs at your draw length or at 28 inches?
i draw just under 27 inches & i shoot 2016 cut to 29 inches with 125 grain head for my 47 to 49lb draw weight.  You are probably looking at something a step or two stiffer than mine....

If you are thinking about carbon I would go with the AD Trad lite's. My AD's are 29" long with 5" feathers and Allum front insert weight is 325gr no point added. The big plus is they arrows fly in all my bows while my carbon express and goldtip 3555's work in some bows not in others even though all my bows go from 45lb to 52b and draw 27". The AD's aren't cheap but they seem to fly in anything so it saves me the hassle of trying to make a arrow fly and the trouble of buying arrows that will not fly and get stuffed aside to gather dust(waste of money).I don't clam to be a expert but since getting my first batch of AD lite's last week they have sold me with there perfect flight in all my bows it's nice to have one set of arrows that will work in everybow you own!

Good suggestion on the AD's, Steel. I was thinking of those as well.  Glad to hear they fly nicely.
