video camera suggestions

I'm planning to get a video camera soon to film Bucks in fields mostly. My 15 yr. old daughter wants to come and sit with me and try to do some action filming while hunting this fall. Looking in the $500 - &1000 range. I did a search but couldn't find much. Any help?

It's really simple. Just don't take those borderline shots. Tomorrow is another day.

you should able to find a very nice camera in that price range. My advise would be to stick with one that records on the mini DV tapes.
I have bought several from this place. Good luck
