Mahaska Lonbows

Does anyone have experience with Mahaska Longbows?  I am planning on buying another longbow and and would not mind on some advice on some grate bows.

Been shooting nothing but Mahaska bows for at least the past ten years, so I'm unapologetically partial...

I like the 64-inch models when spot-n-stalk hunting and one of his 60-inch models when hunting from a tree.  A more quiet and forgiving bow you'll not find.  And if you choose one with "southwest cedar" limb laminations--coupled with a catclaw riser section--the look of your bow will definitely be one-of-a-kind.  Best advice is to do a search of old posts here (keyword "Mahaska") then, if you're still interested, call Kent and talk to him.  I know he just finished up a big order for a pro shop customer in Spain, where his bows are also beginning to get quite a following.

I had a 60# recurve, 58".  Smoked an arrow once it was setup with the right brace height, and arrow config.  Great craftsmanship, and a real performer to boot.
