got my new bow today
« on: July 24, 2008, 08:51:00 PM »
It's a Dakota by Rick Welch. 58" with 2 sets of recurve limbs. 47@ 28 and 59@ 28. I have a 60" that I bought used and it has served me well. What I love about the new one is the grip. Rick made it a tad narrower and sort of a low wrist style. I got home late but did get a chance to sling a few with it. The string that came with the bow had a nock pt that was exactly the same as on my other bow. Maybe a fluke ,but I shot the s**t out of this new recurve. I hope I can remember how I did it tomarrow.
