My hat is off to all of you guys who put this together.  I feel priveledged to even be a part of this whole contest/website/passion for the stick and string.  You all are what personifies trad archery to me.  Good people, my son, Cameron, and I have been following this post every day and have had a great time reading the posts and my son has learned what generosity is many times over!    
Congrats Nathan, and everyone.  We are all better off because of this!

Houston....we have a problem here.....

In my attempt to cut down and taper 6 arrows for the winner...and by the way...Congrats Nathan...
one of the youth arrows split during my pre tapering. So....we only have 11 to give away.

Chuck...I'm keeping the other 5 arrows here and will be delivering 6 21" arrows to your home for shipment Monday or Tuesday. Working 13 days of 12 hr shifts...then this past week 9 days of 12 hrs has taken its toll on this old body. My scew up on the arrow...  :saywhat:  

Keep the faith Nathan....your getting a 6 good ones!   :archer:    ;)

Shipped out two set-ups today. One recurve set and one longbow. The boys will each get a MikeG quiver/armguard, 6 arrows and a glove(two for the brothers) with their bows. Looking forward to some pics of smiling kids.

My Opoligies Gentelmen!!!!! I got tangled up with work over the weekend and yesterday.....   :banghead:

I'm going to PM Doc Nathan's address,Tyler is going to have his Grandpa glue the shipping tube tonight,and I just have to glue the points on Nathan's arrows.IT WILL be on the way by this weekend!!!!!

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!    :(      :help:  

Well by now I know everyone is wondering if Nathan got his new bow.....Well we had a "snafu"!!!!!

It seems that when Tyler's Grandpa glued the PVC shipping tube together,he first glued on the end cap,then he glued on the other screw in end cap on,creating a problem.....

Apparently he left the screw cap in the fitting while glueing it on.The air pressure inside the tube forced the glue up into the threads.....GLUEING IT SHUT!!!!!    :rolleyes:  

I now have a beautiful nearly indestructable shipping tube THAT I CAN'T OPEN!!!!!

I have to get another screw cap and I'll get everything out ASAP!!!!!

I shipped the bow out to Nathan on Tuesday,It should be there by the weekend.Mike(Nathans Dad)said that he is having surgery for a hernia on Friday,so he'll have something to look forward to when he gets home.

Let's all say a prayer for Little Nathan's quick recovery so he can get home,Get Well,and shoot his NEW BOW!!!!!    :archer:

Dang! I have been off work since the 26th of July, and I sure would love to have seen the package come through addressed to Jack Guard's house! I hope my sister carrier gave it special special care as she took it out on her route!
